Well, its finally here! March 3rd - my estimated due date. It seems impossible that we have finally reached this day. Unfortunately, our little man hasn't decided to grace us with his presence quite yet. However, we know he will be joining us soon.
I had a doctor's appointment on Friday. I expected it to be a routine appointment, and I assumed they would tell me that if I hadn't had the baby by next Sunday, they would induce me. However, my blood pressure has been creeping up over the last few appointments. Also, I have lots of swelling, especially in my feet. This makes the doctors a little weary, so they have decided to schedule me to be induced on Tuesday at 6:00am. And I was given specific instructions to keep off my feet and relax until then.
Over the past few weeks, I have been very anxious. At least once a day I think that I am going into labor, but I am never sure. Obviously, I have been wrong each time, lol! When the doctor told me that we will have our little man by Tuesday at the latest, I quickly began to relax. As my lovely husband pointed out, I am a planner and finally having a date and an end in sight has allowed me to relax and enjoy these last few days of pregnancy. Instead of worrying when it will happen, I simply get to enjoy this little guy.
Looks like the next time I post, our little man will be here!
